19 May Women Lawyers’ Association of South Australia Student Video Competition 2021

Students are encouraged to submit a short video relating to a specified theme aligned with the objects of the WLASA. Entrants may create a piece of fiction, a documentary, a blog, a community-service announcement or a music clip.

The competition is open to any full-time or part-time student who is enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws or a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice degree, including Juris Doctor students, at Flinders University, the University of Adelaide or the University of South Australia in semester 1 of the 2021 academic year.
Each student may only submit one entry. Students may submit a joint entry together with other students.

Videos must be no longer than 5 minutes in length.
Students should ensure that they comply with any COVID-19 related restrictions that may apply.
All entrants consent to their video being published on the WLASA’s webpage and the WLASA’s social media platforms, including Facebook and LinkedIn. If the WLASA identifies other opportunities for further distribution the WLASA will seek the student’s express approval.
Entrants warrant that their entries are not offensive, defamatory, harassing or threatening or otherwise unlawful, and have not been plagiarised and do not infringe the intellectual property rights or any other rights of a third party. By entering the competition, entrants agree to hold the WLASA harmless for any liability, damages or claims for injury or loss to any person or property, relating to, directly or indirectly, participation in this competition.
