WLASA Launches New Website!

Welcome to the new-look Women Lawyers Association of South Australia website!

We hope you will enjoy reading the resources and blog posts on the website. utilising the events calendar and the functionality of the payment gateway for renewing memberships and entry to our CPDs and functions.  If there are any glitches, or if you have any recommendations for how we can improve the website or any other service we provide to our members, please let us know at admin@womenlawyerssa.org.au.

We’re excited to be here at the end of another successful year and are looking forward to celebrating with you at our annual Christmas Drinks with the Judiciary function on Thursday, 22 November 2018 from 5.30 pm to  7.30 pm at Mrs Q. 1/128 Gouger Street.

We are also delighted to announce that at this year’s Christmas Drinks with the Judiciary we will be awarding our inaugural Honourable Dr Robyn Layton AO QC Award.  The annual award has been established to honour a practising female lawyer in South Australia in recognition of their outstanding efforts in the law.  Nominations are now open.  Please consider the Award criteria and submit your nominations to us by Friday, 9 November 2018 at admin@womenlawyerssa.org.au.

Please RSVP to admin@wlasa.org.au by Friday, 9 November 2018.   Tickets are only $25 for members and $40 for non-members.  Payment can be made on the night (by cash or cheque).  We have some fantastic raffle prizes this year, so please bring along plenty of spare cash, you won’t want to miss out on a chance to win a prize with all proceeds going to Hagar International, our very worthy charity for 2018/2019.
