The AGM will be held at 5:15pm for a 5:30pm start on Tuesday 17 September 2019 at Fisher Jeffries, Level 1, 19 Gouger Street, Adelaide.

All members are welcome. We encourage Corporate Members to send along a formal delegate on its behalf (please complete the WLASA Notice of Delegate AGM 2019). We have also Individual member proxies for those unable to attend (please complete the WLASA Proxy Form AGM 2019). Please return these to admin@womenlawyerssa.org.au by 10 September 2019.
Drinks and light refreshments will be provided at no charge for all attendees. Please RSVP to admin@womenlawyerssa.org.au by 10 September 2019 for catering purposes.
Guest Speaker
WLASA is proud to announce that the guest speaker at this year’s AGM will be the Winner of WLASA’s very own Honourable Dr Robyn Layton AO QC Award, Trish Johnson, Senior Solicitor with the Legal Services Commission.
Special Resolution
The following resolution will be proposed as a special resolution:
“That the Constitution of the Women Lawyers’ Association of South Australia Inc as accepted at its 2013 AGM be replaced with the new Constitution dated 4 September 2019.”
The revisions to the current Constitution are marked up in the Proposed Constitution.
Committee Nominations
All individual members wishing to nominate for a position on the Committee must return a completed WLASA Committee Nomination Form AGM 2019 by email to the Acting Secretary, Shannon McMenamin at: admin@womenlawyerssa.org.au by 5:00pm (ACST) on Tuesday 10 September 2019.
We encourage all members who would like to be involved with the committee to nominate. Please note that all members must be financial individual (ordinary) members in order to nominate or be nominated for a position on the Committee.
