On 23 March 2016, Our President, Leah Marrone, and Secretary, Christina von Muenster, once again had the pleasure of attending this event.  Our Committee always enjoys meeting the fresh faces of the Flinders University law students and updating them on the activities of the WLASA.

2015 Flinders University Law Careers Fair

On 16 March 2015 the Association again made its presence felt at the annual Law Careers Fair.  Our newest member of the Committee, Marissa Mackie, and Secretary, Christina von Muenster attended.  We are always pleased and encouraged by the infectious enthusiasm the students and we wish them all the very best with their legal careers.

2014 Flinders University Law Careers Fair

On the 31 March 2014 the Association was again an exhibitor at the annual Flinders University Law Careers Fair.  Christina von Muenster and Rebecca Sandford attended on behalf of the Association.  The ladies had a wonderful time meeting many enthusiastic female law students and encouraged them to join, attend our functions and meet and get to know all the excellent members of our Association.

2013 Adelaide Law School – Alternative Careers In the Law Seminar

On the 27 May 2013 the Association together with the Adelaide University Law Students’ Society hosted its annual ‘Alternate Career In The Law’ seminar at The University of Adelaide. Aimed at final year law students the seminar consisted of a range of speakers who have forged diverse career paths since graduating from law school and was designed to assist them consider the question: ‘Where to after law school?’.

2013 Flinders University Law Careers Fair

On the 18 March 2013 the Association attended the annual Flinders University Law Careers Fair as a exhibitor to provide an opportunity for law students to find our more about our organisation.  During the evening the Association spoke with many students about the importance of developing networks and encouraged them to become actively involved in the profession.
